Step 1: Mitigate The Damage
Insurance companies expect homeowners to take steps to prevent additional damage to their home and property after a storm. Examples:

Step 2: Schedule A Damage Inspection
We provide a free damage evaluation. An experienced project manager will inspect your property and let you know if you have enough damage to file an insurance claim. Use the form on the right to schedule an inspection.
Step 3: Submit A Claim To Your Insurance Company
Filing claims, scheduling appointments, making sense of the paperwork and overall process can be a hassle. Not to mention, negotiations with the adjuster, reviewing the claims report, selecting materials, and managing the repairs can be time consuming. We will help you every step of the way. We have extensive experience dealing with insurance companies and mortgage companies, and we’re neighbors.

It is often the little things that make the difference, so here’s what you can expect from our work:
- All trash and debris are picked up daily.
- Job site clean-up includes running a magnetic roller to pickup loose nails.
- We color match all roof accessories to the shingle color.
- We use dump trailers not roll-off dumpsters that can damage driveways.
- Complete tear-off of all materials to inspect wood deck.
- We inform you when materials are to arrive and when crews will arrive.
- We keep you posted when inclement weather postpones scheduled work.
We will never ask you for money up-front! With Moss, no down payment is required. (Payment terms are different for non-insurance related projects)
Our billing is tailored to the insurance claim process. Insurance companies typically pay claims in two checks. The first check is to get the repairs started and represents the Actual Cash Value of your claim. They will send you the balance of the money after repairs have been made. When you receive your ACV we will bill you for that amount. The balance will be due when work is completed.
